I feel scammed.
You know when you hire the carpet cleaners and they say 5 rooms for $80.00 and then they get to your house and it's $105.00 because they determine the small room you have separated into an eating area and tv watching area are 2 room.. bs.
Well your $99.00 to clear a drain is bs. It was $188.00 because first he tried to clear the main drain and then the shower drain.

Water heater installation. Had water in the basement, company in the house needed immediate help. Took full advantage of the situation and gave us a blanket quote of $8500. Serviceman said he could not break down costs at all. I was told that the unit was in stock and would be delivered soon. Turns out it was not in stock and they had to go pick it up. Four hours later (time which I am sure we paid for). Serviceman also told me the water heater would be at least $4500 because of the fan on top of the unit. When they were installing the unit, I found the model number on the internet...

JUST DON'T DO IT.

I am a licensed general contractor who understands what it takes to get it done. I had a main line blockage at my house and, unfortunately, my normal drain guy was on vacation. Like an idiot, I called Mike Diamond plumbing. The "techs" that they sent out did not know how to work, did not understand plumbing and were completely unmotivated and ready to leave before they even got there. They burned up my afternoon waiting for them, and then left me with a clogged line as evening rolled in. This would mean emergency service rates, so basically I am screwed, thanks, Mike.

The plummers came out ran an auger through our toilet and all they wanted to do was sell us a new 800 dollar toilet they would have charged us 300 dollars to loosen two bolts and pull up the toilet, we saved the money and pulled it up ourselves and there were roots in the pipes, just like we told them. What a crock, they were clean but so are con artists.

10 days and drain clogged again. Called MD and we were told it would be another $110 to unclog again. They only reminded us that the invoice clearly states that they do not guarantee their work! There are too many
plumbers to use one with no guarantee. STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS
