Old school Belgian pushed out of former spot right on the corner of Fire and Brimstone in the Meatpacking. New residency on saner block populated mainly by Flatiron worker drones, continues whole buckets full of mussels and fancy beer thing. Max your synergy with moules steamed in Hoegaarden. Raw bar scene picks up unabated inside high-ceilinged space with plenty of stools and antique furnishings.
French onion soup is very very good. The broth is rich, the cheese is thick, and the bread just soaks everything up. Stuffed meatballs are very filling. And they are generous with the wine.
Hostess was extremely impolite and more interested in a customer at the bar than in us. Luckily, our waiter made a much better impression.
Always outstanding! Their omelettes are the best, fresh and delicious and those Belgium waffles with whipped cream and berries, yum! Feels likes european dining!
Went for Sunday Brunch. Had the traditional Eggs Benedict which was perfectly prepared. The take on the crispy seasoned hash brown with sautéed onion was fantastic. Will definitely go back! Wait staff and management were very attentive.
