Enjoy crossing the Bridge, looking at it. Knowing the historical emphasis it carries. Like all the other bridges in Manhattan. Makes be happy to say I was there and Thank God for those who Built it.
It is well worth a visit to Manhattan Bridge. The views from it are really great. We traveled over the bridge in a taxi and it gives you a different view of Manhattan.
Best way to take a photograph of this bridge is from the East river so suggest taking a boat ride like the cupircle line. You'll also get to see the entire set of bridges on the east river too.

The bridge itself is also very interesting and lit up at night.
