My colorist who i was seeing for 5 plus years left NY : ( ..i was devastated but my friend referred me to Crystal at Lotus north moore st. and she was great. Totally understood what i wanted and left my hair so shiny! She also cut my hair really well and most importantly didn't take off too much length !!! and took her time with me. when my friend saw me she knew i had went to see Crystal, my hair was looking great and all my friends have complimented on how natural the color looks, im so glad i found her!! now im happy: )

Hair like straw!

upset and disappointed. I went by the reviews here and saw Crystal. I'm still new to the area so I thought why not. Well, after a short, and might I add, aggressive consultation, I received what I can only describe as a the worst color I have ever had in my life. I walked in with faded highlights and all I really wanted was a touch up, but I was talked into doing something ""a little more trendy"". Big mistake. I now have orange roots and yellow straw like highlights, (my friends nicknamed me tumbleweed). I was also slapped with a very pricey bill! Oh well, live and learn - when reviews...

FYI: This place is CLOSED and has been since the end of 2010. Called on the phone to make an appointment and the girl didn't mention that little fact. I had to walk 5 blocks up to North Moore St. Grrr... So now you know!
