These guys are GREAT! I had a leak from my air conditioner onto my area rug and within a day they were in my house assessing the damage. They told me they had to pick up my rug the next day...

Timely, competent, ...did a great job, friendly workers and mostly, left us with very clean carpets at a reasonable price.

Watch out!. The same thing that happened to ""onefortheroad"" happened to me! I called last night and told a very nice woman that I had a really nice 4'x6'- foot rug (Oriental, very thick), and she quoted me a ballpark of $95 (plus extra for the fringeing I thought I might want), and said they could come this morning for an estimate. Then when the two guys got here (15 minutes late, making me late for work), they called ""Sarah"" in the office, gave her no info other than the size, and suddenly the estimate was $125 for the cleaning alone! I said no way, and the two guys REALLY didn't want...

Rip-off, bait and switch approach!

This company will rip you off - quote you one price but double it up once they get hold of your rug. No getting rid of them without paying them off!

I called the Long Island Carpet Cleaners, Inc. to request the quote for cleaning the 8x11 area rug. Was very clear that I bought it in Home Depot , how it looks, soiling, etc.

The quote I was given was $172 and we arranged a pick up of the rug. A week after the rug was picked up i was emailed a new quote that stated the job will cost $311 - 82% increase and more then any other prior quote I received!!!!
