What the community has to say about Liberty View Restaurant

Information about this business (2)

Liberty View easily makes the cut as one of the few good restaurants in the Financial district. Tree shaded tables offer beautiful views of Lady Liberty herself as well as the Hudson River. Surprisingly the restaurant's cuisine is a bit of Shanghainese, Sichuanese as well as Cantonese and brings in the best of everything. The juicy buns, peking duck, scallion pancakes, dumplings and pan fried...

Editorial reviews from the web (1)

A little piece of Chinatown on the Hudson.

In Short
With its harbor views and breezy, greenery-trimmed terrace, it's easy to see why this Chinese spot is a favorite refuge for World Financial Center workers and Battery Park City...

Three in one

This place offers an extensive menu and is actually good if you want to explore different dishes. Quite reasonably priced too. The food itself was not excellent but was ok.
The service was good - but then it was not very busy when we went.

Battery Park find

Average Rating

With a bunch of restaurants to choose from at the end of Battery Park, this one was the most accommodating for our crowd of 13. We arrived past the dinner hour, but not only did they set up a huge round table, but kept the kitchen open extra for us. I wish I had jotted down the dishes to recommend...

Creepiest and most bizarre meal we have had in NYC

Average Rating

Rainy and cold afternoon drove us to wonder down South End St.. While standing outside looking at the water, we were basically demanded to come in and eat Chinese food by an older man (possibly the owner). We agreed and were seated with only two other tables eating at 2PM. Our umbrellas we immediately taken from our hands and moved...

Nasty people

Stopped in with my cousin and her daughter to see if the menu was suitable for a vegetarian. While we were waiting for our friends the restaurant refused to allow the girl to use the restroom unless we committed to sit down and eat. There are too many other restaurants in Manhattan, even ones with views, to reward this kind...

First Time Malaysian Cuisine

Average Rating

My wife and I had never eaten Malaysian food before and neither of us knew what to expect. But we found the food to be very delicious and inexpensive (for NYC). Because of the nice weather we decided to eat outside on the terrace. We ordered from the dinner menu. I ordered the Pad Thai ($12) and my wife ordered...

Business description (5)

Milford Management remains committed to maintaining the highest level of professional services for our residents with unwavering dedication and integrity

since the establishment in februry 2005 liberty view has been bringing it's best to the battery park city towards the thired year now. chef bai and all the staff members are using the principle try their best to make the best and improving based on the best as their guild all the time.

The "fairly standard" Chinese fare is "enjoyable", but it "takes a supporting role" to the "stunning view of the Statue of Liberty" at this Battery Park City stop; service is "fast", and the dining room casual – just know the "spectacular" sights are best seen from "waterside" tables outside.

Liberty View is a Chinese, Lunch specials, and Asian restaurant where most Menuism users came for a meal on the go.
