Proudly sitting on the corner of Mott Street and Kenmare at the southern end of Nolita, L'asso has become the area's newest beloved neighborhood restaurant. L'asso ("the ace" in Italian) continues to receive accolades for its thin-crusted pizza, which adheres to strict traditional Italian standards.Along with weekly new pizza creations, the menu also includes unique pasta, salads, and appetizer...
The service may not be the best, but the pizza certainly delivers. I've never had anything else on the menu, and because the pies are so good, I haven't even been tempted.
They have a varied selection of pizzas, and some unusual sizes (long and rectangular), but everything I've ever had here has been lipsmackingly good.
Occupying a small corner of NoLIta, L’asso’s tiny, no-frills but rustically charming digs are insufficient to accommodate the locals and nearby-NYU undergrads who flock in for the brick-oven pizzas and pastas. Buffalo mozzarella and San Marzano tomatoes in D.O.C. iterations, plus fun toppings like gorgonzola and pear, walnut pesto, mascarpone and mushroom. Upgraded entrée list featuring skirt steak with chimichurri. Rustic interior matches the menu, with homey weathered...

This place is a gem. Wonderful flavors. I have never had a problem with the service. I live in Northern Manhattan. It's worth the trip.
Delicious, fresh salad and bruschetta. I wish the salad had more dressing it was a bit dry, but still delicious!
The quintessential fashionable pizzeria, this airy NoLiTa landmark attracts both gluttons and models alike.
I love the pizza at this place. Pretty much over most alternatives - so I keep coming back. Or rather, I keep ordering in and have stopped physically going to the place because the staff are bizarre. The back staff, cools and barback are fantastic. But
Favorite pizza spot in the city!A little bit pricey but worth every dollar. Good/helpful service and the pizza is just fantastic. I recommend the...
Don't expect fancy cocktails, but L'Asso does have a full bar.
