I used to go to Joseph regularly around 10 years ago--but had to find a new place out by where I live. Now I am back downtown and was so phsyched to have the time to get back to the salon only to find they are not what they used to be--or even a distant cousin. This place is gross. I got a full head of highlights (my color is usually commented on all the time--it just always gets attention) After Joseph's staff got their hands on me, its actually 3 or 4 different colors, and not in a flattering way. Ladies: I can only recommend David as he is the only person I have been to at Joseph Cione. If you want to pay less than $100 for a haircut YOU WANT, go to David. I have now been 3 times and each time he has done exactly as I asked, whether he had other ideas or not, and I am always pleased. I like expert advice but grew weary of my former hairstylist listening to me then doing as he thought best. Why pay hundreds to be unhappy? And while it is not the nicest ""salon"" I have ever seen in NYC, it is without loud music and distraction to me or my stylist. Honestly, I am very particular...

I when in for a hair cut and so I though everything was fine and they are really cheap. I left and I when home to my family when I got home and my wife saw me the first thing he said was ""what in hell did you do to your hair"" so did my 11 year son and my 7 year old daughter. when i when to a mirror i look like if an infant had giving me a hair cut. A salon for men NOT women

I have been searching for a new hair stylist since my wonderful stylist moved away to take care of her father. I live and work in Battery Park City and would love to have a salon in the area that I go to. The reviews for Joseph Cione salon were positive, so I figured what is the worst that can happen?

Well, I am miserable. Justina M. colored and cut my hair. The color is exactly what I asked for (my natural color) but it is not remotely flattering. That is ok because she delivered exactly what I asked for, but I like for stylists to tell me the truth about whether a color looks...

Great New Salon

I used to get my hair done at Joseph Cione salon 8 years ago when they were located in the Winter Garden. Now they are next to Au Bon Pain in 1 WFC and I so happy they are back. Gorgeous salon, all brand new and so comfortable and relaxing. I had a cut, color, and manicure and all 3 were terrific. I definitely have found a new place to get beautiful. Thanks
