If you plan a trip to NYC, do yourself a favor a choose another hotel

The hotel has perfect location and you will get clean towels every day. This is where the list of pros ends. The list of cons is much longer. The hotel as well as the rooms are blatantly undermaintained. Smudgy and indented walls with occasional mold, layers of dust on curtains, squeaky bed. The heating works only when the ventilation is turned on but the fan is so loud that it is hard to fall...

Terrible terrible

Hotel room was filthy, and had mice, beds are really uncomfortable. Changed rooms due to mice & both room clearly were infested as was the rest of the hotel . Really really rude receptionist. Shouted at me when I wanted to enquire about checking out . « less

Infested with mice

Do not stay here. 1) filthy dirty2) beds are horrible3) smells like cannabis through out the hotel4) infested with rodants - saw them in our room5) extremely rude staffResponse of the manager that set me off : "What do you expect for $50" Im considering taking this to the authorities because its unacceptable. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. i would claim its dangerous for your health.

Great location; shame about the service

The hotel is located in a fabulous location. It directly accross from Midisson Square Gardens and a block from the Empire State Building. Great reception area...but downhill from there. The rooms are unclean, breakfast a joke and staff unhelpful. Not recommended even if you're on a budget.

Budget and Location Good. Ambiance Bad.

Firstly, the hotel refunded our money immediately after we saw our room so I want to give them very good customer service for that. The hotel is perfectly located beside Penn Station and Madison Square Gardens, and an easy walk to Times Square and the Park. So if location is your thing and at a budget price, its a good place. The bed was clean, but it had a very thin blanket that barely felt...
