Horton had seen a better, literally brighter heyday in the past, however, it's worth a stop here at the pinkish and tannish plaza for a nice break downtown (Especially if in town for Comic Con).

The Horton Plaza covers 15 blocks and is nested at the heart of downtown San Diego's Gaslamp district. It includes the Horton Plaza shopping center which is a colorful open-air mall with 5 stories. Even though it has 150 stores you won't find all the stores or brand names that are usually present in other malls. The mall is also confusing with its stairs, catwalks and bridges. Difficult to visit.
