"Wonderful, stylish tableware" that's "fun to mix and match", plus "classic stoneware for cooking", colorful canisters, vases and glossy glazed tiles lure putterers to this pottery maven, a Central LA offshoot of the Sausalito kingpin, founded over 60 years ago; the bright, cheery showroom is just as welcoming and prices are accessible, making it a "great place for wedding and housewarming gifts."

Citysearch Editorial Review

A staple in Sausalito since 1948, Heath’s handcrafted ceramics have a second home on a prime Mid-City stretch of Beverly Boulevard. The lofty, Commune-designed space features raw wood shelving, soaring ceilings and lots of natural light. A small gallery space that hosts works from rotating artists connects the retail area with studio director/resident potter Adam Silverman’s working studio, where he creates small-run and one-of-a-kind collaborations with Heath. Fans of mid-century modern design will appreciate Heathware’s seamless look and functionality, while those who want to "go green"...

Just a note about parking, there is an official Heath parking lot. It's shared with the pet store right next store.

Over priced and ugly pottery, snobby attitude

I went into this store to look for a gift for my in-laws. The help was snotty and the pottery is ugly and way overpriced.

Business description (2)

Health Ceramics is located at 7525 Beverly Blvd, Los Angeles, CA. This business specializes in Home Furnishings and Decoration Supplies.

Heath History Lesson! : An institution since 1948, Heath has designed and manufactured limited-production, highly collectible tableware and tile. Sound meh? SO the opposite. In fact, the company's founders had such a substantial impact on the history of California pottery that their work is showcased in the permanent collections of a handful of museums, including MOMA in New York.
