Swanky Flatiron bar.
Multi-level club with cool red vinyl room. Things get kinda...dirty...downstairs. Less serious bump 'n' grinders can find solace upstairs with the Jersey girls bouncing around on leather couches. Celebs used to frequent, but most have moved on to the next new new by now. Pretty young things here and there. Decadent locale, fun after-parties, and a strictish door to keep things kosher.
In Short
Bouncers guard the entrance to this two-level club. Hip-hop and rock pump out of the Phazon sound system in the modern-feeling main room, with banquette-like seating and some...
I still don't get YELP's policy on if you are sure a business is closed but it just doesn't say CLOSED, next to someone'e name.I personally can tell you I have not been here since 2007 at least. I liked it coming here in 2006 and 2007 when Eugenes is open on the same night as well I agree. One other thing …
My first 30 minutes in Gypsy Tea were horrible. I went to Gypsy Tea on a saturday night. Me and 4 of my girls had a flyer that said free until 1am and $1 shots until 1am. Truthfully thats why we went, we had never been there, decided to check it out and who doesn't want a few $1 shots? They gave us a hard time at the door about the guestlist and the flyer and getting in free, but after about 10 minutes we did all get in for free. (There was noooooo line, that was a plus!!!!!). Then we got in and the bartender (who was very very nice) said she knew nothing of this $1 shot deal and she...
A friend and I went to Gypsy Tea for a supposed Reggae-Soca night taking place on both floors of the club. We got there around 11:45P to my surprise we actually got in before 12A, and no one even asked us to pay or about a list, although we were on one. I know it was early for a reggae club, but when we got there, the bottom floor was occupied by another type of crowd, playing pop and dance music. Both parties shared the downstairs coat check, which was out of control and very unorganized, with a rude staff. The DJ was ok, only because I cannot listen to reggae all night and went at my...
I hate paying 20 dollars for a club (maybe because we came hella late)The area upstairs was crowded, and the area downstairs was not.The bathroom is a little different (boys have their semi clear individual stalls, girls walk through itto get to the bathroom). The crowd was majority asian.Entertainment for the guys: …
I went there with a bunch of friends -- free for girls, $15 for guys. 21+ party. Open vodka bar for 1 hour, and we got to get as many drinks as we wanted! The decor is wonderful, the DJs were cute and hyped up, but ignored everyone. If you didn't like the music there, you should've checked out the genre/theme of …
