Was in area for business meeting, everyone had lunch on their own so I decided to eat here since I don't get to enjoy Cajun food often. Had the gumbo and jambalaya. Wasn't impressed with the jambalaya but the gumbo was excellent. very mild in taste, could of been a little spicier. Served with garlic/butter bread with mild Cajun spices....
This place is legit. Been to LA many times and their food is as good as you would get there. Even my girlfriend who grew up in LA agreed. Just wish they had more crawfish dishes especially with the gumbo. Plus some Po boy would be nice. But excellent none the less.
Stopped in last night while in town for business. Had a lot of questions and staff/guy working the front was incredibly helpful and super cool. He let me sample several different options as well. The food had the perfect level of spiciness and was very unique. I'll definitely go back!
Great food, staff a shy about talking over menu. The food was excellent: had shrimp étouffée - spicy and delish! My husband had some stew sandwich - it was really good too!
Bread pudding was really good! Very large portions of everything. :)
Clean bathrooms and restaurant well decorated. Very good overall
My first time here and the reviews are correct delicious food, served quickly in a pleasant atmosphere. I had the gumbo which was as good as I have had NOLA and Alligator was to die for. The food is made with a medium amount of heat, but spice-heads don't worry they have good selection of hot sauces to bring to...

While gumbo is in the name of the restaurant (and it's certainly good), the étouffée and jambalaya are killer as well at this Cajun joint in Lexington. All the sauces (including a few vegetarian options) come served over either rice or pasta.©10Best.com
