Help us make it rightPretty much the side room of Home, but hey if you guys want to call it something else who are we to argue? Interior hall links big brother Home to its more intimate kid brother. Rocks banquettes, bottles, babes and (at one point) i-bankers getitng wrecked on 27th Street vodka and cranberry juice. House, Hip Hop, R&B and mashups make the kids get their proverbial freak on. If you like...
The Scene
Beg your way past the velvet rope to get to club Home's second story lounge, where space is limited and the demand for dance floor footing is high. Booths and tables for bottle...
My best friend was the promoter and I still had an issue because someone on their end messed up and didn't know what was going on. In the midst of all this, all the female employees decided to have an attitude for no reason. Thankfully the bouncers let us (2 girls) hang out by the door while everything was getting sorted out because it was raining that night. Once inside, the decor is nice and the music is decent, but its slightly L-shaped so there isn't really a good spot to dance. There is NO seating unless you have bottle service. Everyone seems nicer next door at HOME.
Pros
+ Nice...
Rapper Lu Hefner took command of the mic and crowd. The place was packed, security did a good job searching patrons this night. Lu Hefner is as good as he was the last time I heard him perform in Staten Island. I'm glad Guest House booked him, I missed the date at home. I and my group enjoyed ourself this night. Keep up the good talent. Lu Hefner Good job.
i see this club featured constantly on several websites...the review of this place is so off, there are no gorgeous people. check out 7days7nights and youknowyoudeadazzwrong dot com websites and look at how many skanky, fat, underdressed women get in. and the dudes are cornball as hell. i visited a month ago because i just had to see if it was as bad as people said and guess what...it was WORSE. i will never again visit and will warn anyone else about it that asks.
Pros
+ there are real live people here
Cons
- those people are fugly
Guest House has a new DJ, no more House!
The music is now Hip Hop, 80's and R&B.
It is a great club with a selective door policy...
Try to get in touch with a promoter, to avoid the wait in line. You can also meet Marion and Vero at 11.30 sharp on Saturdays. They will walk you in vip/no cover.
You can text Marion at 917 557 5787 if you need any help with your group or a for table reservation.
Pros
+ Great Music
I dont know why the ""Insider tips: Know before you go"" section says there's no cover charge because they asked for $25 at the door! And the people at the door ARE rude, particularly the women! Soo irritating!!
Walk past the velvet ropes outside to enter a party zone like no other. Sure, all can't afford the time or cash to go to Ibiza, but this club does just fine for most. The DJ belts out good music, keeping the dancers in their element. Hang out at the bar too long and you are bound to be hit on by the trendy New Yorkers who frequent this place. Billed high on the club list in Manhattan, the Guest...
There is no cover charge, but guest list and/or bottle service reservations are a must.
Doors are at 11pm, and the place gets elbow-to-elbow by 1:30am.
