First time I tried a Gold Star chili I didn't know exactly what to think. Cinnamon in chili??? Ugh! The though of it was---different, to be sure. But on a second and third visit they had me, and I am so glad I went back.

Good but prefer Skyline Chili

The small cheese coneys are always a good bet. We enjoyed them but wished they were more in line with my favorite...Skyline Chili.
The service was passable and the food was good. The restaurant was a bit messy and needed a face lift. My recommendation: this restaurant is a pass unless you are truly Jones-ing for a Cincinnati Chili fix...

Stick to the Chili

I ordered chili nachos. The chili was great, but the chips were subpar. The chips are the round yellow corn chips you get at the stadium. The crinkle cut fries were above average. The place was clean and the staff was friendly.
