French and Malaysian? Not fusion; rather, a combination. The
husband-and-wife owners--Marc and Mei--have prepared a menu
that features mainly Asian main courses. The soups, salads,
and desserts are, however, decidedly Euroupean. This TriBeCa
eatery serves good fare at moderate prices.
Marc, a native Parisian, is NOT a connoisseur of wines--French

French and Malaysian bistro food in an unassuming setting (you feel like you`re eating in a store front). Not far below Canal, where Varick meets West Broadway. Franklin Station Café is a place that cooks up Malaysian. Expect the average entrée to cost for the most part in the range of $8 to $12, and patrons are quite appropriate dressing casual.
