Editorial reviews from the web (1)

The eclectic menu at this Little Tokyo joint meshes better than one might think on first glance. From mini corn dogs made with Japanese sausages to pasta with salt cod roe and pork cutlet curry, the flavors mingle together in a surprisingly tempting palate. Toss in some Japanese beer and a few bold decorations and this is one restaurant you can't say is like any other.

Want to skip the long lines at Daikokuya? Head further down the street towards the Chase ATMs and you'll find San Sui Tei. Great combo deals and very large portions, well worth your money. Green tea ice cream is served after your meal as dessert, a wonderful experience all around.

Great food! Great prices. Neff said!My brother in law brought me here about two years ago. And I've been coming here at least once a month. My family and I always get the shrimp noodle. They add bacon in it! It's delicious! The sushi rolls are really also. You can't go wrong with anything you order here. It's a nice and clean place. Kinda small, but I always find a place to sit.

3.5-stars on food, bonus for friendly service. We were originally planning to go to Daikokuya. Since the line was EXTREMELY long, we decided to go with option B - San Sui Tei. To start off, I ordered hot honey green tea (with free refill) and it was surprisingly refreshing. Probably one of the better honey green tea …

Business description (3)

Sansuitei is located at 313 E 1st St, Los Angeles, CA. This location is in the Downtown Los Angeles neighborhood. This business specializes in Restaurants.

Nestled in Downtown's Little Tokyo, this unconventional "little spot" (sharing an owner with Lazy Ox Canteen) whips up an assortment of Japanese curries, pastas, salads and a few whimsical side dishes in an open kitchen; though a few feel it's "strange" and "so-so", others "enjoy everything", including the daily specials.

Fat Spoon; curry, pasta, and more!
