The number one reason for staying at this property was the fact that we wanted a name brand hotel (i.e. Marriott, Hilton, etc) for the lowest price possible, which is what we got. The staff was incredibly friendly, the breakfast was great and the location is 1 block away from the F train that took us to the rest of Manhattan. The rooms were VERY clean, the hotel is rather new. 12 of us stayed there and enjoyed every minute.

I'm rating this poor only because of the surrounding area - there are plenty of NYC hotels in the same price range where you don't have to literally step over a passed out man within 50 yards of the front door. If you take a cab or uber here you'd never notice. I drove - foolish I know - but...
