DoubleTree by Hilton New York City- Financial District was lovely. The staff was nice and efficient. The room was comfortable and clean. Room service arrived hot and was delicious. And any hotel that presents you with a warm chocolate chip cookie on arrival is okay by me! I've stayed in many hotels in Manhattan, but never in one as far downtown as the DoubleTree. Stayed juts 2 nights, and found the hotel very conveniently located close to the subway and downtown Manhattan. The staff obligingly flagged a taxi when required.

Nice hotel in the middle of financial district

My girlfriend and I stayed at this hotel for a weekend. Very pleasant. In the middle of everything. Lots of restaurants around. We are Chipotle's fans, we appreciated the fact there is a Chipotle across the street. We were very pleased with our stay. Our only reservation is about the size of the room. I wish we had more space to move around.

Love the free wifi, cookies with check in. Room and decor prob needs updating, but bed is comfortable. No fridge.
Parking is ok, offsite but near.
Elevators take so long to come and always full. Overall i will stay again if the price was as good as i got the room for last weekend.
