House of Blues Restaurant Review

The San Diego House of Blues continues the artistic and philanthropic tradition of its New Orleans, Los Angeles and Las Vegas predecessors. Art-lovers will enjoy the impressive array of outsider folk art and SoCal-Mexican murals---eye candy that enhances the dining experience. The primary focus of the menu is Southern, as in lots of shrimp, cornbread, cheese grits and country-fried steak. It...

Whatever your feelings about corporate music entities, there's no denying House of Blues knows how to do things right. A visual feast of amazing outsider art fills this multiroom venue. There's a restaurant serving Southern-inspired cuisine; there's also a swag store, a bar, and two stages (including a 1,100-person capacity concert space). HOB's booking power brings in an eclectic range of...

Rock out to headline bands and performers at this intimate, legendary live music and dance venue.

In Short
A whole lot of soul and a line up of A-list performers make San Diego's own HOB a prime destination for the music lover or rock star in everyone. Cajun-syle soul food packs the...

Price is high for what it is.... $15 for three tiny street tacos? You are paying for the ambience, not the food.

Excellent Service

Had an excellent time at the House of Blues San Diego. Dinner was great and the service was awesome. My wife and I were there for a concert an was unaware of the "pass the line" deal. Spend $40 on dinner, at the bar or the gift shop and you get to go in first to the show! Glad our friendly bar staff shared that info with us. Our experience was so great there that we will be back!

Great rock venue restaurant, gritty but good.

We had the Mac and Cheese and Shrimp and Grits and an apple salad. We also had non alcoholic drinks which were something other than the usual choices. Everything was very tasty and thoughtfully prepared. Can't wait to go back!
