Best slice on the LES. Fresh pizzas with crisp crusts that pack enough heft to rise above a Gruppo-esque cracker. We're loving on the smoky bacon and onion and the jalapeño and sausage, finished with slightly spicy San Marzano red sauce. Also pasta, heroes, garlic knots. Chicken and beef empanadas are homemade and totally delicious -- nothing to do with that orange fakey stuff. Tiny basement...

Sad times - I think this place is closed. I am in the area weekly on Friday nights (around 8PM-11PM), and it hasn't been open in the past few months. Why?...

It is as good as boardwalk pizza.

Stumbled in from SW PA on a bus tour. Just a pizza as good as you can find in NYC if they just would throw the salt shaker away! Just like the boardwalk, get the salt out and let the customer add it. It was even in the crust....but I will come back to check on you guys! A very nice place to visit. Friendly people all the way!

Not my favorite place because the pizza tasted very bland to me and the service was not that great, but at least I was able to go and try it for myself. The gelato tasted good though!
