This is the second time we've stayed at the Carlton on Madison. Both times were a treat. Skoosh had a standard double for the dates we wanted for $160 per night, everywhere else was over $200. Great location too. Would definitely return.
The newly refurbished room was clean and very pleasant and the beds were very comfortable. The staff was polite and accomodating. I would most definitely stay here again. Location was good, beautiful park nearby and the subway was about a 5 minute walk. I would highly recommend this hotel.
The Carlton was in a great location in the flatiron district. We definitely wanted to avoid the Midtown / Times Square hotels and this quieter location suited us fine. The room was on the small side and there was no bath - just a shower so the 4* rating is a bit dubious, nevertheless I thought overall it was still value for money.
