In the heart of Mercerville, NJ, we have been fitting footwear since 1946. Our roots actually go back to 1921 when Frank Carella came to America and founded CAPITOL SHOE REPAIR. iN 1946 Frank's son James began selling baby shoes and shortly there after James' brother Francis joined him. Today Francis' three sons, FRED, CARL and TOM maintain all aspects of the operation. Each of them has at least two children, so they can relate to parents in search of properly fitted and appropriately suited foot wear for their children.
