"Small and cozy", this UWS "neighborhood" Med is the "real deal" for "inexpensive" dining on "stellar" Turkish meze and "tasty thin-crust pizza"; though service is "speedy", it's often "crowded and cramped", so insiders flee to the "outside tables."

In Short
There's no shortage of Mediterranean restaurants in New York, but neighborhood restaurant owner Turgut Balikci's newest endeavor takes traditional dining to another level....
We went here to have dinner with my girlfriend on our stay at new yourk the service was really good, they had good discount of the wine :) and the food was best which we had on our 7 day stay at NY.
We love this place - from the warm, slightly-charred bread to start, to the Turkish coffee at the end. Excellent, interesting food, and healthy portions at an outstanding value - what more could you want?
Had a wonderful meal. The food is consistently great here.
Excellent service. Very nice environment and good space. Meals were of reasonable proportions although, somewhat, not warm enough. Flavors lacked some of the typical "mediterranean spyce" ... in general: a good place to stop by.
Love Bodrum. Excellent Turkish food. Great Shepherd Salad, humus & excellent Lebne. Had Adana kebob tonight and it was also wonderful. The bread right out of oven is to die for. Never had a bad experience here. Always excellent food and good friendly service.

Bodrum is a romantic intimate restaurant bringing eastern delights to NY. Bodrum specializes in Mediterranean cuisine, although there is no shortage of Turkish cuisine in the menu. This restaurant is great for a romantic dinner. Try the authentic kebabs, hummus with fresh Pita, B'stila Djej to name a few. Also try some good Turkish wine here, which is quite surprising and very cheap. Their...
