So, we found this place when we got off of the train. We planned on drinking a bit then going to the Diplo show at Madison Square Garden. I'll be the first to admit that EDM is not my first choice...

Updating my review- after asking the bar to remove their lobster claw "game" machine, they decided to do so and I've since been back to check and did notice that it was in fact, removed. Appreciate the bar listening and acting on the request, if I'm hanging in that neighborhood I'd stop at the bar again for a beer.

Been here once before, nice people and staff, just not a fan of Irish spots, but no complaints clearly I came back!

Good sized place with a decent # of TVs. Waitress' were not friendly at all. Burger/fries were solid. Good enough beer selection. Didn't get a chance to check out the 2nd floor. Location is a little out of the way, but is a good pregame spot before MSG. I would come back again if I was going to a game, but otherwise probably wouldn't stop here.

Blarney Stone doesn't leave a great impression on me. I think that folks who run this place can't decide between whether it's an Irish themed pub or a hipster dive. Drinks aren't watered down but bartenders definitely don't give you a break on your tab for being a jolly customer. Music is pretty good. Blarney …

The names "Blarney Stone" and "dive bar" are practically synonymous in New York City, but this place takes that relationship to a new level. Definitely not a place to take a date, it's is an ideal spot to throw back cheap pints, so long as you can stand the smell of other patrons doing the same.
