Dr. Hershkin is outstanding! I'm a general surgeon, so I asked a friend and colleague for a referral for an oral surgeon. We were referred to Dr. Hershkin for my 6 year old son's procedure. His bedside manner is fantastic, he has a great sense of humor and is great with kids. The procedure itself went so smoothly, and the office experience was very nice. I can't overstate how fantastic he is.
A true practitioner of painless dentistry!!! Dr. Hershkin made the extraction of a wisdom tooth a pleasant experience. He was such a nice guy, a pleasure to visit with and a gentle and caring professional. I almost wish I had another tooth for him to pull.
Probably competent, but I'm a sap for agreeing to the *MANDATORY* consultation. It might not be illegal, maybe not even uncommon, but the mandatory "consultation" is a legalized swindle & a dirty way to gouge patients out of an extra $175.
He was 45 min late, looked at the previous x-rays, gave 5 min of generic info, looked in my son's mouth for less than 30 seconds, and bills it as an 'exam'...
I cant say enough about Dr.Magner, he has changed how I look at dentists for the better. After spending years and tons of $ at the wrong dentist I finally see light at the end of the tunnel. Dr.magner takes time to explain everything, showing me every step that he will do Before doing it. He goes out of his way to make me feel comfortable. He even calls ME to ask how I am!
