This company is UNLICENSED. They are not legal to touch plumbing work in NYC. You the owner are liable for up a $10000 for work without a permit if you hire them. If they create damage you have no recourse because they do not have to carry insurance to protect you.

We hired a "Licensed" technician from this company on Monday Oct. 15th 2012 to come inspect a gas line for possible leaks, in order to receive services from Con Edison, which was a mandatory requirement.
The company has several names, DG Mechanical, Best Plumbing & Heating, Ariel Quality Services and lastly Ariel Services. I contacted the phone number provided on the Ariel Services website...

These guys are really shady. I used them to repair a leaking pipe and they charged 2-3x what I've paid in the past and demanded cash payment. on a Sunday afternoon. The work had to be redone by my regular plumber after three days. Beware…
