My Place of Peace

Zennubian is my place of peace. My special special and I go every weekend for the yummy brunch. Everyone that works there is so relaxed and peaceful and just fun, cool and knowledgable(i ask a lot of questions).

I always have a hard time making a choice between the Nubian Breakfast and the Breakfast Bagel sandwich my personal favorites. I try to get my partner to order one so I can order the other and then eat them both but he doesn't always listen.

We eat and they we lay out on the couch or the cushions if we are sitting on the floor, and just vibe to the cool music I promise we are...

Zen Nubian's character is the result of trying to create an original image and mystique by combining the zen (Chinese / Buddhah / Yoga / Spiritual) with the nubian (African / Black / African American) cultures, icons and meanings. Yeah, it's an odd mix--and as hard to pull off as it is to explain!

So enjoy the do-it-yourself attmosphere with cushions on the floor (there are some benches if want to sit up), and just go for a new experience and a few incredible food items found on the menu. Yes, some are to avoid, such as the breakfast or egg-like brunch items, but the salads are really...
