Help us make it rightWe stayed at the Best Western Yosemite Gateway Inn, so we went to this restaurant with family and friends. The service was very good, the waiter gave us all explanations regarding the meals.
My Cajun Sea food pasta were excellent. It's an ordinary restaurant, with ordinary meals, but the service is very good and it's very important.
We did not expect to find a classy restaurant atop the hill at the Great Western Motel in Oakhurst. The neon signs visible from the road made it look more like a bar/grill than fine dining. But they were still open past 9pm, so we gave them a try. And were pleasantly surprised to discover a fine dining establishment worthy...
That really was the worst food on our 14 day road trip. The ribs were hard, the fish was dry and the vegetable pasta (19 USD) was so tiny, that a petite and small woman, who ordered that, was done with that portion after 3 minutes and had to leave the restaurant hungry. The food was excellent, a good choice and a very relaxing atmosphere . The staff were welcoming and Ross our waiter was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is attached to the Best Western in Oakhurst and both are highly recommended.
