Help us make it rightChef Partner Julian Medina and restaurant group YB & Co introduce Christopher Gilman and their newest Latin hot spot, YerbaBuena Perry. Located at One Perry Street in Manhattan's West Village. YerbaBuena Perry is a chic 55-seater that stirs up an era gone by-1950's Cuba. The restaurant features Julian Medina's reinterpreted Cocina Latina cuisine complemented by signature cocktails, many made...
Chef Julian Medina delivers "delectable", "inventive" Pan-Latin fare matched with "creative drinks" at these "stylish" crosstown siblings manned by a "helpful" crew; just be aware that the space is "tight" and the "noise level rises a few decibels" as the night wears on.
Second location of the popular Latin eatery with a wholly new decor that evokes a bygone era in Havana and presents an innovative take on Latin cuisine, preparing fresh Latin flavors of Cuba, Peru, Chile, Mexico, and Argentina.
In restaurants, second acts are generally no match for the original. But Yerba Buena Perry in the West Village, younger sibling of the Lower East Side version, may be the proverbial exception that proves the rule. Open and nicely lit, with a black-and-white tile floor and white leather banquettes, the space is welcoming and chic, if a little loud. And the menu—Julian Medina's signature...
Chef Julian Medina is on top of his game, twisting and turning Latino classics into crazed creations like only he can. Suckling pig, black cod, and grilled rib eye like you've never seen them before. Reasonably priced wine list exists for traditionalists, but like its eastside Yerba Buena forebear, serves up serious cocktails, specializing in pisco, mezcal, and rum. Pared-down lighting,...
Fantastic place! We come to Yerba Buena Perry quite often for a everyday dining as well as going out with friends. The cocktails are great, the bartender is very talented. The food and service are excellent. We strongly recommend it.
This place used to be amazing and it's really gone down hill. The spices and taste are way off as if they lost their chef. The service was slow even though the place was only 1/2 full at 8pm.
Yerba Buena was recommended to us by a friend and it lived up to the expectations! Delicious and cool atmosphere.
This is a small restaurant, very intimate. I wouldn't recommend going with a group larger than 10 people. The service and food here was great. our waiter was very attentive. I went with a group of 7 people and everyone enjoyed the drinks, appetizers, meals, and desserts. We had a very good time.
Delicious food. Great service. Very accommodating. Was able to change my party size with no problem one minute before my reservation.

There's no signage except a single leaf out front.
The cocktails are all great, but if you want to start with something simple try the Yerba Mate, made with mate-infused pisco, grapefruit and lime cordials and fresh lemon juice. (Yerba mate is a kind of holly made into a tea in South America.)
These aren't small portions or dainty food, but try to leave room for cinnamon-dusted churros (crullers) with chocolate sauce for dessert.
