West Egg Cafe Restaurant Review

West Egg Café keeps a steady stream of patrons lined up for breakfast all week long. The clean, contemporary space enjoys a good view of the street, and diners may sit at wood tables or at a bar. We popped in here after dropping our daughter at the airport. Mild curiosity and no expectations.
First, the menu is inventive and great. I really struggled to decide on a dish. We got two orders of fried green tomatoes for the table. They were delicious....

West Egg café is a good place for breakfast. I enjoyed my skillet breakfast. The service was good but the food took a very long time. It was very busy there today . my friends all liked their omelettes and biscuits.

Tasty, Southern-Inspired Fare... but a LONG Wait and Not Great Service

Overall, this was a good restaurant, food-wise. It had some great southern influence and the food was good. However, we waited well over an hour to get seated and noticed countless groups that came after us getting seated before us (we were a group of...

Rich Brunch Food

This was rich brunch food. I couldn't finish my Eggs Benedict. The ambience is rustic diner and the chairs at the tables were uncomfortable. The service was good and the food was prepared quickly. It's expensive for what it delivers.

Family lunch during the week. Wait much longer than expected. Ordered beverages during our wait, most of them arrived after we were seated. Portions were sufficient, nice variety and play on standard fare like fried green tomato BLT. Biscuit was good, omelet a little over...

West Egg Cafe is a Westside hot spot for brunch with specials such as Red Velvet Pancakes. It serves a variety of food for breakfast, lunch and dinner, but is most well-known for its weekend brunch menu and all-day breakfast menu. The interior is simple and industrial.
