Some of Atlanta's best sushi in Castleberry Hill.

In ShortSporting an ultra mod décor and a fish-only menu, this is exactly what a sushi spot in an industrial loft district should be. Stark white plastic tables and chairs and cherry red mono-color wall hangings are the dominating design schemes in the Castleberry shoebox. Matching the sleek, deco design the menu follows suit with a sushi-only selection. Don’t look for overly-sauced rolls or teriyaki chicken, this is miles from the Americanized Ru Sans. Of the nigiri offerings, hamachi (yellowtail snapper) is buttery and silken, and worth a second round. Along with the serious fish...

Great sushi in a cool industrial artistic 'hood

This is exactly what you'd expect from a sushi restaurant in one of Atlanta's most artistic-friendly neighborhoods. Castleberry Hill is a loft district, and fittingly Wasabi has a minimalist modern interior and a simple sushi menu. Tips about this business (3)

Parking

Wasabi shares a lot (around the corner) with the neighborhood's other standout eatery, No Mas Cantina. There is also plenty of street parking.

What to Drink

The cocktails list suggests some amusement, whose Japanese-themed selection includes concoctions like the ginger saketini and the signature Wasabi martini, made with wasabi vodka and garnished with pickled ginger, cucumber and tuna sashimi.

On the Menu

Fans of spicy shouldn't miss the bulls eye roll, topped yellowtail, jalapenos and a dash of Sriracha sauce.
