There's only one thing to do when your flagship bar lands itself in a seemingly perpetual limbo, if you're Matt Abramcyck, part owner of the Beatrice Inn: find a hockey player and open a sports bar. And so the geographically named Warren 77 came to be, with stylish collection of sports memorabilia, video games, flat screen TVs, and vintage sports photographs. The partnership between Abramcyck...

Sports bar, Tribeca style. Think Smith & Mills cross-fertilized with the ESPN Zone. Metrosexual left wing Sean Avery is on board, applying his "most hated player in the NHL" credentials to the hospitality industry. Molson on draft, burgers and wings on the short pub grub menu. Comfy, old-school looks definitely skew masculine. Green leather banquettes, old sports b&w's on the walls. Boxing...

An au courant Tribeca sports bar also draws on decades past

This spot attracts locals by day and the booze-minded by night, but if the decor says anything, it’s that Warren is mainly a sports bar--albeit an upscale sports bar, complete with a list at the...

Good experience!!

I wouldn't know. They called and canceled my 4pm reservation for 6 people at 1:40 saying that the NY Giants just reserved all the tables. This reservation was made a week prior to watch the Giants Green Bay game with friends. So basically if you have a reservation here, it's only good until someone willing to spend more money comes along. It's a small sports bar that is fully booked for any big...

Best part of the bar is that there is always hockey on and Molson Canadian on tap. Reserve a table in the back where it's quieter and there's a view of the TVs over the bar.

Just enough food at a decent price. Our service was pretty good, except they stopped by to see how the food was before everyone had an opportunity to dig in, and didn't come around again to see how it was or if we needed more drinks. Other than that, we liked it a lot.

Brought to you by former NY Ranger Sean Avery and Beatrice Inn proprietor Matt Abramcyk, this TriBeCa sports bar is set in a “small”, L-shaped space done up in ancient locker room–style, equipped with vintage boxing gloves and well-worn Hardy Boys mysteries; despite borderline “rude service” and an “overhyped” scene, it’s usually “packed” at prime times.

Matt Abramcyk, the man responsible for the Beatrice Inn and Smith & Mills, has teamed up with the stylish/incendiary (and onetime Vogue intern) Sean Avery of the New York Rangers to create an upscale but unprissy sports bar. Warren 77 is a guy's guy-type tavern, turned out with handsome, dimpled green leather booths, flat-screen TVs, vintage lights and sports memorabilia, but given a vaguely...
