Angered and saddened to hear about your district's treatment of students with special needs. They are students and deserve to be represented in district activities and publications, yearbook included. The exclusion of these students is a hurtful and bigoted message to send your entire student body and community. You have set an example that discrimination is not only tolerated but acceptable.
How dare you exclude special-needs children from the yearbook. How dare you disclose the diagnoses of children in those programs?
