Gratuity should be at the client's discretion. I don't like being asked every time I checkout if I'd like to add a tip. I should have the option to do so on my own on the receipt. Fortunately, I really love my hair or I would consider looking elsewhere because this makes me feel uncomfortable every time I come into the salon.
