Pricier than I'm used to, but knowledgable and I felt like they really cared about my dog. Clean and really accommodating to my rescue dog who doesn't understand dog cues and can't always play nice!

Dear Minneapolis area pet owners,

Don't ever take your animals to the VCA Cedar Animal Hospital. I brought in my perfectly healthy, elderly dog, they took him into another room and they brought him back to me with what I now know was a dislocated hip that requires a $1,500 surgery to repair. Initially, they told me it was just a bad reaction to a vaccine. When I went in a second time, I was told it was likely a floating kneecap. Now too much time has passed and my dog will likely use 3 legs for the rest of his life.

Also VERY EXPENSIVE!

This place is amazing. My ferret had an obstruction and I went to 3 different vets where 2 said they don't specialize in... ferrets and 1 recommended I euthanize my ferret after I told them I couldn't afford their 4000 plus surgery.
