Indifference and contempt bordering on negiligence--Val was unavailable to answer questions about medications or emergencies, appeared never to have looked at the medical record prior to my entering his office, did not listen, was rude, belittling, indifferent, and seemed to spend a great deal of time being wined and dined by pharmaceutical reps, whose out-of-date samples he was happy to pass out.
