Help us make it rightworking a few blocks away, and not much choice in this area (regardless) its still one of the better places for lunch, as the others wrote, its fresh, Falafel they keep making it every few minutes, chances are you will have to wait for your falafel sandwich cause the balls are in the middle of frying which is great, you...
I work about 10 blocks away, and often come here for lunch. Prices are reasonable for Manhattan ($6 for Felafel, $10 for Schwarma), especially Kosher. Would recommend this for anyone in the area.
University Pita is near my office and I eat there occasionally. The falafel is excellent and at $10 for a falafel laffa and a soda it's a pretty good deal.
There is only one person making the orders, fresh, so at the height of lunch there can be a line. But it moves pretty quick.

The best pita in the Lower East Side, and for $5 for anything on a falafel pita and a coke, it's definitely worth it.
The Shwarma is delish, the Grilled chicken is sooo good!! They stuff your sandwich with the best sauted onions and really good eggplant. This is the best hole in the wall place to grab a bite!
