Union bank is a rip-off. They charge $10 to cash a check WRITTEN ON THEIR BANK! Use a credit union or a smaller bank that isn't so money hungry. This fee doesn't hurt me as bad as it would hurt a person who was younger or poorer, but it's aimed at hurting those who can least afford it.

My worst banking experience, terrible customer service, moving banks is such an ordeal but in this situation it was worth. Long story short, our business required help from the tellers at deposit time, they provided the service for ten years but decided to stop for no reason. We switched to navy fed who is happy to provide the service, best move I've made! Steer clear of Union bank!
