Help us make it right"Displaced Texans" clomp into this Dallas-based chain link in Mizner Park for "big portions" of Tex-Mex eats at attractive prices; the jaded call the eats "ordinary", but the frozen drinks, a "spacious", "bustling" setting and a staff that "aims to please" are hits with many.
i like the steak but the rice and beans are horrible and i agree the service is bad.
Really needs to serve more cheese and sauce on their dishes. Not bad for a chain, but would recommend someplace else.
Here for brunch, ordered the brunch quesadillas and had a nice taste.
The ice tea is watery so save your $ and get water.
Uncle Julio's tries hard to be a good tex-mex restaurant but does not quite make it. They are consistent at all of the locations I have been to including the one in Boca. The chips are pretty good as are the tortillas. The sopapias are bite sized are great.
Keep your expectations in line and Uncle Julio's is ok. Parking...
Recently had a very enjoyable evening at this restaurant. The chips are really fresh and the guacamole amazing. We also had fajitas which were great as were the margaritas. This is a large bustling restaurant with a great atmosphere. The service could be improved but overall highly recommend.
Try one of the delicious Mexican dishes Uncle Julio's has to offer. The Cowboy Queso looks delicious with a spicy blend of cheeses with beef fajita, bacon, and pico de gallo.
