"Rustic" New American cuisine with Swiss inflections and an "intelligent" wine list appeal to gallery-goers and High Line hoofers alike at this "exposed-brick" Chelsea "oasis"; a "lovely" garden out back and "accommodating" staffers take the edge off of the slightly "pricey" tabs.

Hearty fare with Swiss and French influences.

Trestle on Tenth Restaurant Review: Swiss food’s reputation in New York lies somewhere between that of German and Tex-Mex on the heartiness scale; there will be oversize hunks of meat, burbling pots of raclette, and plenty of reasons to search out fiber for the week following a meal. Trestle on Tenth streamlines those excessive, ski lodge impulses without abandoning the spirit (or the protein)...

We aren't sure whether to say Grüetzi or bonjour or just hello at this Swiss-American restaurant, but the menu of enchanting specialties and great wine list (at very fair prices) makes us definitely want to say it all.

Cozy and warm with an inviting exposed brick interior, this Swiss brasserie is a true west Chelsea neighborhood spot. Locals and gallery hoppers quaff foamy beers or glasses of wine from the reasonable list while awaiting hearty Alpine-inspired dishes. Crispy duck necks, calves' liver with potato rosti and butter lettuce with bacon are fan favorites here. It's not art—for that hit up one of the...

Chef Ralf Kuettel's mishmash homage to his Swiss upbringing, French training, and American experiences. Housed in historic Chelsea building half a block from the High Line Bridge. No-frills brick interior with sweet cherry tree garden out back. Heavy, hautey barnyard like veal breast with spinach and rye berries or pork shoulder crépinette on wilted nettles. Cured meats and aged cheeses,...

It's a nice spot to sit and have drinks at the bar. My friend works here and decided to take me here for some tea and hot chocolate. It's not my type of place to eat since they're specialized mostly meat on the menu. I'm solely rating them based on ambience and service. My friend works for the industry so we were treated nicely. I'll come back for drinks, but def not for food. There's other...

Had a great lunch at Trestle. The gazpacho with crab and fresh corn was amazing as well as the eggplant pate. Service was friendly and perfect. Loved the ambiance, too

I am a big fan of Trestle on Tenth. The food is great, the atmosphere is casual and inviting. Most important (aside from the great food) is that the service is EXCELLENT!!!!!!!

I've been coming to Trestle On Tenth for Years now and am never disappointed. Absolutely everything I've ordered has been excellent from the butter lettuce salad , which I always order, to the fish entrees, which I usually order. But for dinner recently I ordered a roast pork with mushrooms and vegitables that was superb. I try to take all my out of town guests there and I don't even live in...

Enjoy fancy Swiss cuisine tempered with a contemporary American touch at the warm and cozy confines of the Trestle on Tenth. Food ingredients blend harmoniously, succeeding in creating a savory dinner. Relish the Golden Beets and Crepinette of Braised Pork Shoulder, tender and succulent slow-roasted pork chops, and the spinach-stuffed veal breast. Down it all with a glass of wine. And after the...

A neighborhood favorite and a citywide destination, Trestle on Tenth is a Swiss brasserie (casual dining, offering beer, wine and spirits) directly across from the High Line Park, in the heart of the Chelsea art district.
