Aside from the price, I don't know why this place gets such bad reviews. I went on a Saturday night, the place wasn't packed but there were a lot of customers. The seating was like a typical buffet, the sushi was an appropriate temperature, and just about everything was very good.

My family and I don't eat a lot of raw-fish sushi, but they had a lot of alternative sushi options, including...

Why do you need to see a picture ID of a senior where you can visualize their age. My goodness!!!! I was with my father (85 yrs. old) and mother (80 yrs. old) and cashier still insist to see their picture ID . The food was okay but too expensive.

Todai is not good

Good: Leaving and getting fresh air.... Bad: Food gave me diarrhea, it was terrible - don't recommend this for anyone - no matter how hungry they are. Improvements: They could start with the sushi - how about hiring Japanese instead of second shift taco-bell workers?. Other: Our bill came to $200, for 5 adults ... what a rip.

Good: Nothing about this place is good.. Bad: Price = VERY EXPENSIVEFood = LOW QUALITY, MUST BE STARVINGService = NON-EXISTANTAtmosphere = AIRPORT FOOD COURT. Improvements: Needs new management, hire people who really know how to make sushi and not tacos. Other: Better choices are out there, just Google 'em..

Not clean and very $$$$

Warning!!! We read some good reviews on the internet about this place, but in reality its over prices and way over rated.Don't know about other locations, but the Schaumburg/Woodfield location has some serious management and cleanliness issues.Definitely not worth the $45/person for lunch.
