They are constantly improving and adding features to help their customers and eveytime I call with a questions someone is always there to assist me. It has helped our business grow and we are thankful there is another company out there who hold the same principles in customer service that we do. Give it a try I bet you won't regret it!
We looked at 22 products, deeply evaluated 4 (including custom built sql database), and chose Scheduling Manager 4 years ago. They made substantial modifications for us and continue to fine tune it as our needs dictate. I began using the system about 3 years ago and it's been working like a charm. I have a carpet/floor care business so whenever I send someone out I'll know how long it will take them to do any particular job, and if a customer wants an extra room done I can just go to the calendar and drag out the job for however long we need. That alone is worth it to me, but I can also process credit cards or send texts, all of which will save me more money than I spent on the software each year. It's been well worth the investment.
We've been using the Scheduling Manager now for almost 10 years and we are very happy with it. Before implementing Thoughtful Systems' Sceduling Manager, we were using a program we had specially written for us. Unfortunately, the programmer who wrote that program left the country and we were unable to contact him to get modifications done when we needed them, and to get some problems taken care of. The system is good however we pay each year for support that support isn't very good. The support people are nice however not very knowledgeable about the system.It takes them a long time to solve issues. Most of the time they don't even answer the phone; I get a recording and they have to call back. You have to make an appointment in advance to get someone to help so don't bother to call when your stuck on a small issue because they will no be there for you. They limit their scheduled appointment times to about an hour. A couple of times it took so long for them to figure out the problem...
