I really liked the quality of this San Diego Hotel and their customer service was phenomenal. I come to San Diego frequently on business and this is the first time I stayed here, and I would have to say it is one of the best I have stayed in so far.
This hotel is located in the main street of downtown, San Diego. In front of the hotel, there is a very famouse shopping mall. The staffs of the hotel were so kind, and room was very cozy and clean. In addition to that, the hotel gave guests many bottles of water as you wanted. But there was no swimming pool in the hotel.
Was a beautiful facility. Tons of character. Room comfy. Service excellent. Even got early check-in.
Only real issues were no coffee/tea maker service in room. And older cable service that did not provide programming guide.
Also expected free wi-fi at that price point.
Only one restaurant available in facility.
We stayed at this hotel for an early Valentines Day and the hotel didn't disappoint. From the sumptuous seating areas to the art and chandeliers, it was gorgeous. We stayed in the Ulysses Suite which is a one of a kind Suite in the hotel and it was absolutely amazing! ! We will definitely stay again!
The US Grant is a beautifully maintained downtown hotel within walking distance of the Gas Lamp Quarter, Little Italy, shopping and the beach. The staff was friendly, courteous and helpful. Our room was not ready for check-in when we arrived at 5:00 pm. We were given a generous credit to relax in the Grant Bar and Grill while we waited.
