SMC Global is a big scam and rip off company. They do not stand by their warranty s and falsely claim damaged to product so they don t have to honor their warranty service.
I think a class action lawsuit or getting local news prime time stations involved is key here.

Your Singing Machine karaoke system (model SML-390) arrived to our California facility on 3/16. After a complete inspection and testing process we have found the unit to be cosmetically damaged but fully functional. As noted in our warranty statement This warranty does not apply to any product damaged by accident, misuse, abuse, improper line voltage, fire, water, lightning or other acts of God, or any parts or service furnished by anyone else. I have attached pictures to this email displaying the cracked cabinet as well as it operating as expected for your reference. We will only replace merchandise that has proven to be defective and cosmetically in tact; therefore warranty replacement is denied. Your original purchase will be shipped to the address noted on your file.
