Rock Church is mega church done very well. The building is impressive (though a bit of a maze) and the people who go there are really cool. It is a seeker oriented church yet seems to have avenues to go deeper. I went and saw some people I knew from other churches I had visited but didn't get into even one conversation even though I said "Hi, how's it going?" to a few people. It appears that they have some people whose ministry is greeting but they seemed to be talking to people they already knew.
It's a great in-and-out church. You'll get a great message, great music, and can leave with something. If you want a big church experience and work to find the right place to plug in this could be a good place to go. I just have a problem with the showy nature of the place.
I bundled up the kids we arrived at 8 o'clock just like the online time says his services start. there's no one in the parking lot. Someone here says at this time starts at nine. I guess they don't want new people here
This church is the BEST! The community is awesome, my life will never be the same and through Jesus will I continue to draw closer to him and this church continues to cheer me on!!!! Love God so much, He led me to find The Rock Church!

Pastor Miles is a wonderful teacher and pastor. I learn something new every Sunday. The worship is awesome, and the people we are meeting are wonderful. This church and its many ministries are making a huge impact in San Diego.
