Someone roofied my girlfriend at the Saturday pool party. We were charged a minimum at the pool even though we eventually were guests at the hotel. The difference in what we drank and minimum was probably $50. Management did not care about what happened at the pool nor did they follow their own rules as it relates to minimum. Also...

Expensive but not crazy expensive so relatively good value for price.
Good location / nice accommodations / good restaurant / decent size rooms with great showers / although not everyone, overall competent staff.
The main point of improvement is breakfast staff (very slow and inattentive to guest requests - be careful if you have allergies). Concierge recommandations were also pretty...

The hotel staff was amazing, the rooms were great however the "scene" at Hyde Park got in the way of a relaxing experience. I'm guessing this hotel is more for kids on spring break!! The last day of my stay the pool was completely closed which I was never warned about prior to my stay which annoyed me.

I have stayed in a number of South Beach hotels. This was one of the best vibes ever. The big hotels are impersonation and and the small ones are run down. Definitely not the place to stay if you plan to hang out in your room all day or are looking for peace and quiet. This is a fantastic place...

dirty bed sheets, arrogant staff, overpriced, bad value, bad service, dirty rooms, malfunctioning elevator, ... even found used (!) condom in my room - VERY VERY VERY BAD HOTEL - WILL NEVER EVEN GO TO THAT PLACE AGAIN, goto Setai, better than SLS - DO NOT GO TO SLS!
