it was OK - long wait and nice staff. the portions were large and the food was good, but nothing special. I am basically an egg and meat person and $65 for 4 for breakfast is a lot. Nothing bad about the place, but the price and value does not line up.
I was disappointed in the value for money. I was expecting better quality food for the money. Have had much better food for half the money that this establishment charges. Service was good even though the place was busy.
Having been to some of their other locations I can say the food is similar, however, it seem to come out faster and fresher. Must be the staff because all aspects of service are very good.
Caution....on weekends this place gets very busy and waits can be long
My favorite Original Pancake House is the one in Kearny Mesa, but the one in Poway has just as good food. Pancakes are great and so is the Eggs Benedict. Usually lines on the inside but it moves fast.Can be very noisy.
