Definitely an amazing experience. This was my first time trying this place out and definitely won't be the last. I love everything about this place. Mostly of the people that I know asked me about this place already and they're excited to try it soon. Thanks for a wonderful experience, amazing tasty food.
The food was rather bland. Each course we ate, we anticipated something better than the last, but that never happened. The service was average at best. Certainly not to the level expected at a fine dining restaurant. Overall, the experience was a disappointment.
The Diver Scallops were perfectly cooked and the Elk Loin was delicious.
The view at The Marine Room was spectacular. We went after dark and were so pleased to find that we could still enjoy the ocean view as the lighting was wonderful. We were a bit disappointed with the service but the food and ambiance made up for it and it was a wonderful way to celebrate our daughter's birthday.
A definite must do when in the San Diego area. Great food, wonderful service and you're right on the ocean. Try to time your visit during a high tide, if possible, because the waves actually break right on the building.
