Help us make it rightThe Lash boasts of a designer space with ultra-modern interiors for clubbing, dancing and drinking. Its exterior and interior architecture emphasize on unfinished surfaces and geometrical patterns such as cubes and stripes. Its outer wall is painted in asymmetrical patterns of black and white stripes running in multiple directions. The interior rooms have plain pink, black or white brick...
With a name inspired by a Pogues album (and a Winston Churchill quote), this nights-only Downtown watering hole lures the hip and the hipper with a lean, carefully curated wine and beer list plus plenty of exotic cocktails; the lofty, industrial club spans multiple rooms outfitted with edgy accessories like subway tiles, broken mirrors, concrete and marble.
The name comes from a winemaking term, and there's plenty of wine on the list at this born-again Downtown bar and Southern restaurant serving fried chicken, biscuits and the like. The new space is larger than the original, with an outdoor patio, an outdoor bar, and a wine cellar large enough for private dinners.
Irish musician Ross O'Carroll's downtown hot spot brings the artsy, weird, and good-looking together for nights of debauchery on the edge of Skid Row. Designer and visual artist Erik Hart built out the space to highlight the tension between public and private. Expect live performances from avant-garde artists and enough liquor to make it seem perfectly normal. A young, sexy crowd is a given.
This was my first time to The Must. The food was quite good - I had the french toast - and the service was excellent. It is located in an area that is in transition (for the better), but there are still homeless folks and older buildings around it, so don't let it throw you.
Showed up for our resie and we're never greeted. When my SO walked to the bar to get some attn. Everyone was standing around screwing with their Iphones. The menu has slipped since they were at their previous location. The fried rice was good, the chicken...bland. I really despise the new space. The furnishings make it look like an OLD 60'S diner and the lighting is terrible.
Great ambiance, good food. Can't beat the bottomless mimosas too! Would come back again.
Mother's Day brunch was great - our third time going for brunch!
You must go to The Must! Cute, fun, classy and they have a fun menu.
